worm chow 5 Years, 9 Months ago Karma: 0
Well it's been about two months since I atarted feeding with 100% stable manure and havent found but one dead worm in more than two weeks. I purchased a bag of purena worm chow today and will begin feeding one bed with it. Leave the other bed as is to compare any difference.

Excellent! I hope you will be doing it with your ENC. I continue to use worm chow. I have not found ANY dead worms in my bins for two weeks now. I deep freeze any chow I will be using for the next week 12 hours- thaw out, than use. Kill any mites/eggs that may sneak into the chow.

I can not wait to hear your results with growth size, reproduction, death rates... keep us informed.

I wet my bins down good before I sprinkle with the chow and let the chow absorb the moisture UP from the bins instead of wetting the chow directly.

I found my first dieing Euro of this year last night. It looked like it had a blister on it, odd. I guess I should have taken a picture.

Shredded newspaper & cardboard, also using worm chow. Not really concerned, at least not for now.
